Our Data Scientists analyzed for this Sustainable Power Producer the data from captors of renewable energy production installations, stock batteries and intelligent meter/smart grids. This analysis was a big challenge since this client had a huge amount of data due to the recent acquisitions of two key players in the Renewable Energy sector. In fact, on the one hand, they made the acquisition of a Belgian private supplier and producer of green electricity and natural gas.
On the other hand, they merged with a French international electric utility company, which operates in the fields of electricity generation and distribution, natural gas, and renewable energy. Consequently, these two acquisitions have considerably expanded the volume of data to be analyzed.
However, this large amount of data at our disposal created the possibility to increase the prediction accuracy of energy demand, renewable energy production and thus brought better stability for the electrical systems in real time. In this changing environment, Intys Data studied, cleaned, and visualized this large amount of data and developed a predictive maintenance and detection system for specific events in temporal series, using Python and Power BI Technologies.
